A collision can change more than the appearance of a panel. It can move structural points, disturb wheel geometry or damage A/C components. Collision Repair 1 Stop has on-site lifting, frame repair, Eclipse measuring, John Bean alignment and separate R-134a and R-1234yf A/C equipment to support an authorized assessment and repair plan.

Why having the equipment here helps you

Keeping applicable checks and operations in the same shop can reduce transport and coordination with another facility. Our team can relate the measurements to the damage findings, discuss the results and plan the next authorized step. This is a workflow benefit, not a guaranteed reduction in rental days or a promise that every operation can be completed here. Specialist work, parts, approvals and vehicle-specific requirements still affect timing.

Three under-car lifts: access beneath the vehicle

Our three under-car lifts provide access to areas that a walk-around or photograph cannot adequately show. That access helps us inspect and document underbody damage, mounting areas and related components, subject to the vehicle, lift capacity and approved lifting points.

What it helps solve: uncertainty about damage underneath the vehicle. Access supports measurements and inspection; raising a vehicle alone does not establish its structural condition.

Revolution frame machine: a controlled repair setup

A frame machine provides a platform for securing a vehicle and applying controlled pulling forces when the repair method permits it. The Chassis Liner documentation includes Revolution and Truck ’N Revolution frame rack manuals.

What it helps solve: displaced structure that needs a planned correction rather than an appearance-only fix. Having the machine here lets the structural repair setup and measurement work be coordinated without an automatic transfer to another shop.

Whether a damaged component can be straightened, must be replaced or makes repair uneconomical depends on the vehicle, material, damage and applicable manufacturer procedures. A pulling machine does not override those requirements.

Eclipse frame measuring: evidence beyond appearance

Electronic structural measurement compares selected vehicle points with reference dimensions. Wedge Clamp’s Eclipse Plus documentation describes laser-based measurements and recorded measurement reports. Correct reference points, targets, attachments and setup are essential to useful results.

What it helps solve: “Does the structure measure correctly, and what evidence supports the finding?” Our Eclipse measuring equipment supports investigating geometry and checking the work at appropriate stages. The exact measurements and report available depend on the installed system and vehicle data.

A measurement result addresses the points measured. It does not by itself prove every weld, material, safety system or hidden component is correct.

John Bean alignment: checking wheel geometry

John Bean explains that alignment equipment measures wheel geometry so technicians can compare and adjust it to applicable specifications. Incorrect angles can contribute to uneven tire wear and affect how a vehicle handles.

What it helps solve: alignment questions after a collision, steering or suspension work. On-site alignment lets us connect wheel measurements with structural and mechanical findings and investigate why an adjustment may not reach specification.

Wheel alignment and structural measurement answer different questions. Neither substitutes for the other. Alignment also does not automatically complete any required ADAS calibration; we check the manufacturer’s requirements separately.

R-134a and R-1234yf A/C machines: the right refrigerant process

We have two White Industries R-134a A/C machines and equipment for R-1234yf A/C service on site. These refrigerants are not interchangeable. EPA explains that refrigerant-specific fittings help prevent accidental mixing, and that paid vehicle A/C refrigerant service requires appropriate certified handling equipment and trained, certified technicians.

What it helps solve: coordinating refrigerant handling when an authorized repair involves the A/C system. Correctly matched equipment supports the refrigerant service steps applicable to the vehicle, instead of treating every A/C system as the same.

A machine is one part of the process. Leak investigation, component repairs, the correct oil and charge specification, and vehicle-specific procedures still matter. Hybrid and electric vehicle compatibility must be checked for the particular equipment and vehicle.

Autel MaxiSys Elite: investigating electronic faults

Our on-site Autel MaxiSys Elite diagnostic tablets support electronic-system checks alongside the physical damage assessment. Autel describes the platform as a multi-system diagnostic tool; available functions depend on the vehicle, installed software, interfaces and access requirements.

What it helps solve: warning lights, stored fault information and questions about systems affected by a collision or repair. Applicable scans and vehicle data give the technician evidence to guide further diagnostics. Having the tool here helps connect electronic findings with structural, alignment and mechanical checks in the same assessment process.

A trouble code is a starting point, not a confirmed cause. Clearing codes is not a repair, and a scan with no codes does not certify that a vehicle is safe. Physical inspection, testing, manufacturer procedures and any required calibration remain separate steps. Programming or specialized functions require confirmation for the specific vehicle and equipment setup.

On-site Axalta Cromax paint mixing: coordinating the finish

We mix Axalta Cromax refinish paint on site. Axalta supports the Cromax range with color tools, product information and technical guidance.

What it helps solve: coordinating paint preparation with the panels being repaired. Mixing here lets our refinishing team work with the required formula and quantity as part of the repair plan, rather than relying only on a paint-code description. Color evaluation, preparation, application and any necessary blending still take skill and time; on-site mixing does not guarantee an invisible match by itself.

We are planning a transition to waterborne paint. That is a planned upgrade, not a claim that our current system is already waterborne. The selected system and implementation date will be confirmed when the transition is ready.

Restoration and interior vinyl finish assessment

Our existing paint system continues to support suitable restoration refinishing work as we plan the waterborne transition. Discuss the original finish, previous coatings, condition and the outcome you want; we assess compatibility and preparation before agreeing on the work.

We also offer assessment of faded or worn interior vinyl parts for recoloring and restoration. We check the material, condition and existing finish to decide whether preparation and a compatible vinyl color coating can achieve the intended result, or whether repair or replacement is more appropriate.

Exterior paint and interior vinyl coatings are not interchangeable. Axalta’s MasterTint Vinyl Color System provides product-specific application and preparation instructions. We follow the applicable technical instructions for the actual product and surface. Recoloring changes the finish; it cannot restore lost strength or make every damaged part repairable.

Equipment supports the process; it does not replace it

Setup, access, procedure research, measurements and interpretation take technician time. Applicable equipment operations belong in the agreed assessment or repair scope and charges. Equipment ownership does not make those operations free or establish what an insurer will pay.

Start by telling us your concern. We review the engagement document, scope and charges before paid assessment work; repairs require separate authorization.
